Yogurt for all!
If you haven't already done so,
try adding some plain, natural yogurt to your Pugs diet!
Yogurt is not only for humans; but can help with a pugs digestive tract; as well it helps promote good bacteria not only in the digestive tract but through out the whole body!
If your pug suffers from constant wax build up in their ears;
this could possibly be, a sign of grain or protein allergies and by doing an elimination diet; you can pin point what is causing the build up.
Pugs are notorius allergist to grains and proteins and not one pug is the same as another for allergies!
Adding yogurt will introduce good bacteria flora that will help fight and possibly eliminate a lot of the problems.
Be aware however, that if your pug is also lactose intolerant, you can go to a yogurt that is lactose free.
good yogurts to try are:
BIO Best and Liberte (I purchase Liberte at Costco)
there are many good ones on the market, be sure to look for low sugars, active cultures and no additives i.e. fruits etc.
My boys get 2 allotments of yogurt per day of about 2 tblsps. each time.
Once in the afternoon for a treat and once before going to bed.
They live for their yogurt and woe be to anyone who forgets their delicious treat
